  4. Add the balls into pre heated oil one by one. When each ball raises up, move them with a light hand with the help of a spatula. When they turn golden brown, remove from oil and add into boiling sugar syrup. Turn off the flame of syrup and cover it for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove the gulab jamun into serving bowls. Garnish as you like. Serve lukewarm or chilled.
